J'adore this book! There are some books that you read when you have the time, and there are some books that you make time to read.....and then there's this book. Time stood still. I cared about nothing else. All I could think about were Anna and St. Clair and what was going to happen between them. I mean Etienne St. Clair....what about that name?! Je le trouve bien!! He was so witty and charismatic, and just plain charming! An American raised in England who speaks fluent French? *SWOON* Don't get me wrong, there were a couple of times that I just wanted to haul off and slap him, or I wanted Anna to do it, anyway. It drove me crazy that he could just string Anna along, all the while having a girlfriend that he seemed to have no intention of breaking up with. UGH! Drove me crazy! But isn't that the point? These characters were so real to me, and I cared so deeply for them. I still do! I'm still thinking about them!I also loved that they all had flaws. Both physical flaws and character flaws. Anna has a gap in her teeth and can't to seem handle being alone. St. Clair is short, bites his nails and has severe phobias about heights and change. But they don't let their physical flaws consume them, and they work hard to overcome the character flaws when confronted about them.Did I mention how funny this book is? I can't tell you how many times I laughed while reading it! And I don't just mean a little chuckle. I mean full out laughing until tears came out of my eyes. My family kept giving me strange looks and asking if I was ok. But laughter wasn't my only emotional reaction! Anna made me nervous, and excited, and angry, and sad, and hopeful, but most of all it just made me deliriously happy! I smiled and I sighed, and then I smiled some more. And I'm still smiling! The best Romantic comedy I've ever read! :) C'est magnifique!~Andye (http://ReadingTeen.net/)
