The Tales Of Beedle the Bard

The Tales of Beedle the Bard - J.K. Rowling Okay, so if you have read anything on this website, you will probably know that everyone on the team (Except my weirdo sister, Abigaile) are huge fans of Harry Potter. Books, movies, (In my case) video games, books, and pretty much anything else to do with Harry Potter. It's awesome. J.K. Rowling is my #1 author and I have read the entire series thirteen times. Yes, all seven books, thirteen times. So, as God willed it, Ms. Rowling decided that another book would work quite nicely. And so it did.Okay, if you've read The Deathly Hallows, you have heard of The Tale of the Three Brothers. You might even remember Ron mentioning Babbity Rabbity and Her Cackling Stump. Well, these are stories that were written by a wizard named Beedle. Beedle was a very famous (You guessed it) bard who lived in the 15th century. To learn more about Beedle click here. But, back to my review. While reading this book, being the nerd I am, I tried to make myself belive that this was actually the book that Dumbledore wrote in and Hermione translated. This didn't really work, but it was fun to read. I often say that a huge wish of mine would be to forget everything about Harry Potter so that I could read them all again, watch all of the movies again, and not know what happens next. Though, Harry Potter is completely unforgettable. There isn't really a lot to say about this book. All I have to say is that this is a wonderfully wonderful book. If you are a Harry Potter fan, this is a must-read. People classify the Harry Potter series as "Childrens books" but honestly, anyone, can read them. My grandfather, in his mid-sixties, tore through these books faster then I did. And, even though J.K. Rowling says that Beedle wrote "Children's" stories, this book can be enjoyed by anyone. It is a very short book, but is very fun to read. If you are like me, you will take anything Harry Potter that you can get your hands on and take it with happiness. So, read it. If you are huge Harry Potter fan and haven't read it, I am sorry. But, do you know what your next step is? That's right. Read it. And if you aren't a Harry Potter fan, change thy ways. Come to the light. It's better over here. We have cookies. And pancakes. And noseless dudes. And cookies. So, come on. But, I warn you, do not read this book before you have read the entire Harry Potter series, for it contains spoilers. Other then that though, you are good to go.Austinhttp://ReadingTeen.net/
