I have a thing for nicknames. I absolutely love them. And 12 Things to do Before You Crash and Burn just happens to open up with a clever little story about how Hercules got his nickname, which pulled me in instantly, and I loved it. But this book as a whole was interesting. It was most definitely the shortest book I've read in a very long time, I easily finished it in only a couple of hours. But I can't decide if I liked that or not. I felt so accomplished after I finished it so quickly, but at the same time, I think I would have liked a little bit more story-wise. So basically, I'm neutral on the length... Other than that, I really liked Hercules. I liked how he, in the beginning, he seemed unsure of who he was, and he was maybe a little bitter at life, and by the end I felt the weight of the world had lifted off of his shoulders. The only thing I didn't love was the amount of language. I felt like every other word was a cuss word, and it just seemed unnecessary. But if that doesn't bother you, I would definitely recommend reading it. 12 Things was short and.... a manlier version "sweet"..Kitreadingteen.net
