Clockwork Prince (Infernal Devices)

Clockwork Prince - Cassandra Clare I really enjoyed Cassandra Clare's second installment of The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Prince. I knew I would, I have read five of her books so far; The Mortal Instruments and the first book of The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Angel. I have loved every single one of them. Cassandra Clare leaves you wanting more and more with each book. The storyline and characters never get old and boring. The same goes for Clockwork Prince, the entire time I was reading this book, I did not want to put it down.I especially perked up anywhere Will was involved. Yes he can be cranky, sarcastic and even arrogant, however, he is my favorite character. He wasn't in Clockwork Angel, I was so Team Jem. I even said in my Clockwork Angel post, that I wanted to love Will so badly. Will grew on me so much in this book, and I know what you are thinking... he is a jerk...well, I guess I am attracted to bad boys, what can you say? Let me just say (without any spoilers), that Will goes through a tremendous journey, self discovery, if you will. I cannot say what happens, but I will tell you that it makes for one exciting read, and it will bring tears to your eyes.Tessa, Jem, Charlotte, Henry, Sophie, Gideon, Magnus and even Jessamine were also in the story. I am not going to go through each character like I did for Will. I will say that each character grew and grew and I fell in love with each one more in a different way. Tessa was amazing, even though she drove me a little crazy with her indecisiveness, but other than that... she was wonderful, fearless and a little too forward with the boys :) Don't get me wrong, it made for one great book Tessa, don't worry, I still love ya girl!I had a lot of expectation for Clockwork Prince and it/Cassandra Clare did not let me down. If anything she has brought the bar so freaking high, that I doubt anyone could reach it! She was born to write this series and The Mortal Instruments. Very few people can actually say that about themselves; That they know they are doing what they were born to do. I have the highest praise for Cassie Clare and her writing. Clockwork Prince was sensational at its best; it was funny, romantic and most of all entertaining. You would be a fool not to start reading Clare's books! Just sayin :)-AmyReadingteen.net
