Kill Me Softly

Kill Me Softly - Sarah Cross I started this audiobook with no assumptions whatsoever. I had no idea what to expect, who the author was, or even the storyline, for that matter. When I started the audio, I thought the reader Kim Mai Guest was just okay. After a couple of hours, she had grown on me tremendously. I really enjoyed the audio part of this book. Definitely worth buying for sure. When I wasn't able to listen to the audio of Kill Me Softly, I had to pick up the book. I loved the dark, sinister fairy tale story, that the author Sarah Cross writes about. The characters were great, and there was some awesome and unexpected twists and turns. I think my favorite parts of the entire book, was when Sarah Cross would write about old fairy tales; The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella. She would tell the real fairy tale, the dark, gross, and sometimes gory side. Not the Disney version. I had no idea these tales were so gruesome and evil.Kill Me Softly was no different than these old fairy tales. It was one of the most sinister books I have ever read. The twist to this book literally had me saying... "Oh. My. Gosh. No way"... I never expected what happened in this book, jaw dropper for sure. It was awesome. I would listen to the audiobook again for sure, which is why I am not giving it away!-AmySexual: HeavyProfanity: ModerateViolence: Moderate
