I absolutely love this series. It is so much fun to read. It's fast paced, humorous, romantic and very adventurous. The second book in this series, The Girl in the Clockwork Collar was just as amazing as the first. Kady Cross has a very good sense of humor, in her writing. Her humorous sarcasm reminds me of Cassandra Clare. The Steampunkiness in this series, is what is so much fun. The gadgets, machines and the time period (1897-1900's), might be the main characters of this book. Griffin King, Finley Jane, Emily, Sam and Jasper are all back to entertain us. The romantic tension keeps building between Griffin and Finley. Sam and Emily are just as cute as always together. Yes, Jasper is still looking for the right woman, who can handle him. Of course there is a bad guy trying to ruin all of humanity. That's what this awesome cast of characters, are for... to save the world... again!I go into more detail about the background of this series in my review of the first book.
