For Darkness Shows the Stars

For Darkness Shows the Stars - Diana Peterfreund Let me just tell you, this book was fantastic! It's been a long time since I saw Persuasion (yes saw, I didn't read it), so I didn't remember all the details, but it didn't matter at all. I loved this book. It was so imaginative and fantastically written! I read it in a day because I just couldn't put it down. There was so much to love about this book. Elliot North was a fantastic protagonist. Kai was so frustrating, and amazing, and....frustrating! I love how Diana took the story Jane Austen created and turned it into something so different, and creative. The futuristic dystopian/sci-fi world that Elliot lived in was so fun to read and kind of scary to think about. It felt like the future, but also the past. The romance was so full of tension and so aggravatingly wonderful. I just loved every minute! If you're like me, and you still haven't picked this book up, you need to do it now. I can't wait to see what Diana has in store for us in Across a Star-Swept Sea.AndyeReadingTeen.net
